FREN 106 (Beginner)
For students with no background in French
You’ll learn to:
Understand slow, clear speech about yourself/family
Write simple emails using present/future tenses
Ask/answer questions about hobbies, school, and places
Topics: Greetings, family, hobbies, shopping, basic grammar
FREN 107 (Intermediate)
For students with up to 3 years high school French
You’ll learn to:
Describe daily routines and work/study life
Write short stories using past/present tenses
Discuss food, city/country living, and cultural differences
Topics: Daily schedules, clothing, food, urban/rural life (includes FREN 106 review)
